Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is this Thursday and as usual we are going to think about the things we are thankful for. Let us begin at the beginning. It was originally a religious holiday thanking God for the Pilgrims surviving their first year in Plymouth Colony. They shared the meal with those who in large part helped them survive that year: the Indians. They feasted probably for days more like a festival than a banquet that we know it as.

We may not be going home this year, but we may as well, and either way, be thankful for every little thing. It is a Holy Day because God gave us those things that we are thankful for. That's all I think needs to be said since we all know what Thanksgiving is about.

I found your blog from you leaving a comment on Stu's blog on Glennbeck.com

It is nice to read what other like minded conservatives have to say. Thank you for sharing.

With that being said, Merry Christmas to you, and have a happy holiday season.
